by VITROMED HEALTHCARE 10 Jun 2021

Stress is what you experience under pressure. The constant race to stay ahead in life and the hectic lifestyle has become one of the most common factors inducing stress. Excess stress also leads to other disorders like allergies, cholesterol, hypertension and the imbalance of Vata, Pitta and Kapha in the body.

Given the lifestyle we lead today, it’s not possible to eliminate stress. However, we can take charge of it with the help of Ayurveda.

Ayurveda has a beautiful perspective on stress management and helps to ward off diseases, relax and calm your mind.

Below are a couple of tips to help you experience the natural healing process of Ayurveda

1. Good sleep is a combination of quality and quantity.   It is essential to repair the wear and tear of the body and approach stressful situations with a calm demeanor. 7-9 hours daily is recommended for adults.

You can use Vitro Sleep Well Juice

2. For ages, yoga has proven to be a great antidote for stress management. Yoga is a blissful combination of many breath control, clearing the mind and stress-reducing techniques. Daily practice of yoga, even for 30 minutes, can help you go a long way! A 30-minute yoga session in the morning can enhance your mood and overall sense of well-being.

3. Ashwagandha is a rejuvenating herb that promotes longevity, youthfulness, improves memory and eliminates diseases. It is very useful for people suffering from anxiety and stress. To make Ashwagandha a part of your daily regime, you can consume Ashwagandha powder. It is made from 100% organic Ashwagandha that helps to revitalize and calm the mind. Increase your energy levels and fade your stress away by consuming  3g (1/2 teaspoon) of Ashwagandha powder and mixing with water. You can also add honey or jaggery to improve the taste.

4. Adhere to a diet that alleviates your stress. Say no to sugary drinks, refined carbohydrates and processed food. Instead, consume sweet potato, broccoli, parsley etc. for a healthier and fuller life with lesser stress.
